Terrace 2010 BC Winter Games Results

Awesome showing by the zone 6 team at the Winter Games. Congradulations Mason, Josh, Kristal and George at their great performance this past weekend. Saturday ended with the team competition where Zone 6 got SILVER! Way to go Zone 6!! The grassroots development program on the island is obviously showing!

Vancouver Shiai - Feb 6th, 2010

This is a junior selections tournament for this years Nationals. This Shiai is also open to Seniors. To be held in the Sportsplex at Capilano College.

Signup deadline is Tuesday February 2nd.

Olson's Gym -- Grand Opening is Januray 18th.

New address for Kokushikai Dojo is 520 Mt. View Street. Look for the large, new-looking, blue and white building just off the Church property.

Class days are Monday / Wednesday / Friday nights.
Class times are 5-6:15pm for kids, and 6:30-8:30pm for teens and adults.
Olson's Gym is still being finished off, but some mats are down. Come on out for a practice at the new facility!!

Happy Holidays!!

With the closure of Olson's for the move, classes have been moved to the Victoria dojo. Check the website schedule here for class times and locations.

As soon as I have a move-in date for Olson's Gym, I will be posting it here.

BC Winter Games 2010 Playoffs - Nanaimo

Congradulations to Kristal L., Mason E. and Josh V. for making the BC Winter Games Selections.
The beginning of March they are off to Terrace to compete with the best in BC.

Schedule updates

With all the upcoming tournaments and team trainings taking place,
I have altered the schedule to show you which Sundays the dojo will be closed.
Christmas break has also been added in.
You will note that Tuesdays adult class in Mill Bay will continue to run during the Christmas holidays.
